A LITTLE ABOUT HELENA & WILL

We met at a local coffee shop. She was the barista, I began work roasting the coffee beans. We were both seeing other people, but felt a 'pull'. Once those relationships had run their course, we connected and moved pretty fast. Engaged and pregnant within the year. She brought along a 3 year old step daughter for me to love also. Now we are finding ourselves as a couple again rather than mum and dad - and have planned some holidays and metal concerts to enjoy ourselves as we didn't have a honeymoon (it was a secret elopement).

ELOPEMENT LOCATIONS

We got ready at home together, but I left before Helena put on her dress.

Our secret elopement took place at Fern-Nulla in Sassafras, Tasmania with just our brothers there to witness and look after our daughter and son while we had photos.

HOW MANY GUESTS DID YOU HAVE?

4 (2 kids and 2 witnesses)

WHAT TRADITIONS DID YOU KEEP OR DROP?

We both wore black.
We got married on a Wednesday.
We didn't tell anyone other than our witnesses.
We got ready together.
We read personal vows privately after the ceremony.
Will gave a ring and had vows for his step daughter.
We did a Celtic hand fasting ceremony and vows.
We had a sage cleansing at the ceremony.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY?

Tequila shots at dusk.

William wore: A two piece black suit from Routleys in Launceston with a James A'Delin black shirt, black Ascot tie and custom fitted black R.M.Williams boots. His ring was a Gentleman's Smith Tungsten Wedding Ring.

Helena wore: TOBI, Black Satin Twist Dress with NINA Danitza heels in black patent. Her ring was a James Allen 14K white gold Single Row Ever After Diamond Ring paired with her James Allen 2.04 ct. Oval diamond on an 18K White Gold 1.5mm band.

Lara wore: 'Oui Babe' Gabrielle dress in Ivory with Black Doc Martens and her Flower Crown, by Found In Earth.

Arthur wore: Ollie's Place Black 3 piece suit with black and white Converse Chuck Taylors.
